Fueled BY Giving Back

An internationally acclaimed ballerina fueled by giving back. This is the story of City Ballet of Los Angeles.

More than just movement, more than simply dance — but a movement in and of itself.

CBLA and LACHSA Emerging Artist Program


Targeted Area District 1
Elementary & Jr. High Schools will be approached to audition/ participate in our outreach programs at CBLA Studios that will build incoming students to be trained at CBLA and then emerge into LACHSA

Downtown Cultural Partners
Fundraising goals for 2017-2018 Open houses will be offered to the public. Our downtown cultural and business partners will generate an awareness and financial support that we will need to fund the Emerging Artist Program.

LACHSA mentorship program gives students the opportunity to volunteer at CBLA to assist in teaching classes and office organization that will further their arts education.

CO2 (Company 2 is a junior company of CBLA ) LACHSA students will have the opportunity to perform in a professional company and gain an awareness of stage craft.

Program Projection
We estimate that CBLA students first year of emerging into LACHSA will be in 2020. Training student 2-5 days a week in Ballet, Modern, Pointe, Yoga, Pilates and Nutrition. Our goal will be 20 students from diverse backgrounds that represent Los Angeles.
